1% for the Planet Partners with Sustainable Daisen

We're excited to announce that Sustainable Daisen is now a proud partner of 1% for the Planet! This collaboration isn't just a boost for our Japanese giant salamander conservation efforts; it's a major step in spreading awareness for this critical cause.
1% Percent for the Planet acts as a bridge between businesses and nonprofits, allowing companies to demonstrate their commitment to solving environmental issues by featuring the 1% for the Planet logo on their merchandise. In return, these businesses pledge to donate a minimum of 1% of their annual sales to support environmental causes. Functioning as an accountability partner, 1% for the Planet verifies each donation to ensure businesses uphold their commitment, resulting in contributions of hundreds of millions of dollars to various environmental organizations since its establishment in 2002. The overarching objective is to collaboratively address global issues, through the funding of impactful environmental initiatives, aligning with our mission at Sustainable Daisen.
Our mission remains, protect and conserve Japanese giant salamanders and their habitat through outreach, education, research, and ecological intervention. While this collaboration is a significant step forward, there's still more work ahead.
